Automated Wallpaper Changer
Once again I turn to my Linux Questions family to give me guidance. Im looking for a script that will automatically changed my backround say every half an hour or so. I'm running Ubuntu Warthog on a Pentium 2 350 mhz. A shall script would be fine. I was wondering if just creating a cron job would do the trick. Your help is greatly appretiated :), thanks again.

Crond job might do the trick.

But, a question, what desktop environment are you using? KDE GNOME? other...

I think the above mentioned may both have those features existing within their desktop settings configuration.

I'm running Gnome 2.0 I believe.

I haven't used GNOME in a while, so I'm not sure if what i mentioned is avaiable.

I did find something related to your cronjob idea...
