Question automate source for fortran compiler in fedora 8

I downloaded and installed intel fortran compiler for linux in my Fedora 8 machine. The problem is everytime I start a new session, I have to run 'source' else the compiler won't work. is there a way to automate this? My friend told me that by using .login script we can automate, but he don't know how to do it! Can anyone help me to automate the source for ifort compiler?

Put the source command into your ~/.login file. You could do it by
echo "source /path/to/" >> ~/.login
Or you can do it manually.
If you don't have a .login file, try it with .bash_profile, or .bashrc.

Good luck
