Automate program launching ? (with window sizing)

Hey Linux Guru's :-)

Do any of you know of a program / technique to run graphical programs (in kde) and size the windows automatically like in a batch mode?

I have several monitoring pc's running Red hat Linux with KDE ... Every morning I have to open up all sorts of terminals and gui programs and then resize all the windows how I need them... It would be really cool if I could just kick off a script that would run all the programs and resize them for me.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance.

I think you could use the session manager to save and restore your windows settings.

In KDE Control Center, go to KDE Components, Session Manager. On login section, choose "Restore previou section". At logout time, leave open all windows you want to see in the next login.
