automaically start programs

Hi, I use kde and I want to know how to automatically start karamba when i start kde.
Thanks if anyone can help

Place your startup program's shortcuts/links to /root/.kde/Autostart

Better place them in ~/.kde/Autostart not in '/root/.kde/Autostart'. In your case they will be started only when you log in X with root user.. which is generaly bad idea. There is nothing about you should need X with root privilegies. Every tool can be started after 'su' in the console with superuser privilegies.
