Autodesk Maya 8.5

If anyone using Maya for 3d works, i would like to say that i just did an experiment with top Linux distros(Fedora, Suse, Gentoo, Ubuntu and Slackware).
I tested the easy installation, stability and speed.
And the result was Slackware 12 is the winner. And the second was Fedora(Autodesk recommends).
If you want to use Maya, i would strongly recommend you to use Slackware.
If you have any questions about installation or etc..you can always PM me.

How about Debian?

I came across this post in search for the answer to the following question? Will Maya 8.5 work on a Debian-based distro (such as 64Studio)? If so, what issues/fixes would I need to implement to ease the process of installation/use?
