audiocd:/ ioslave not there

I think I've heard that amaroK can't play audio cds using the xine engine, but I realized my audiocd:/ ioslave isn't working anyways! It's not listed as an available protocol. Did I need to have something alread compiled before compiling kdebase-kioslaves? I already have cdparanoia, so it can't be that, right? Anybody know how to get this fixed?
