Cool Audio/Video Converter


I'm using Kubuntu 11.10 .I need to convert some of my media files for my phone (supports only 3gp format).So what is/are the best audio/video converters available for linux?

Arista seems pretty straight-forward, and has built-in profiles for lots of devices. Should be in Synaptic too so you don't have to go compiling source code and everything. I've had a couple of issues with it, but for the most part it seems to do alright.
