Audio / Sequencing software, any suggestions?

Hi All,

Happy new year and all that...

Just wondering if anyone can recommend some good audio/midi sequencing software for linux?

Something that can handle audio and midi, similar to logic, cubase or pro-tools.

Thanks

Lucas

Hello,

I haven't really done anything with audio in linux but I have scanned this place and they seem to be pretty in line with what you are after.

Linux is sorely lacking in professional audio software (that's why I still have Windows installed on one box) but the closest thing to Logic or any of the other big hard drive recording environments is Ardour. It's been in development for years and it's moving forward, but it still has a long way to go before it can replacy my trusty Logic Silver!
