Audio cd's with Nautilus

Hi
I am trying to get mp3 files onto a cd so that they will play on a cdplayer which is capable of cd-r playback.
Firstly what I did was convert the mp3's to wav using:
Code:
lame --decode track.mp3 track.wav
I burned these wav files to disc with nautilus and tried playing the disc on my cdplayer. It didn't work. After some research I discovered the audio files must be in a cdda or .cdr format so I converted the wav files to .cdr files with:
Code:
sox track.wav track.cdr
I then burnt these files to disc with Nautilus and the cd player still wouldn't paly them. Can anyone see the error of my ways?
Cheers

it looks there is no error. Also just by using the wav files i though it should work. Although i never used nautilus to copy the cds.

You can try for example X cd-roast to make the audio cd. This approach should work, at least it works for me.

Thanks, what I did in the end was use cdrecord on the original wav files i generated with lame:
Code:
cdrecord dev=ATAPI:0,0,0 -eject speed=2 -pad -audio *.wav
and it worked. I think nautilus is only designed for writing data cd's and not audio cd's.
