Audigy 2 sound card driver

I downloaded the sound card driver for audigy 2 platinum from the link at soundblaster...

I got this driver:emu10k1 from here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/emu10k1

I installed GCC and its dependancys

It says to cd into the directory where the files are then type make to configure, make to compile then make to install

I type make and the terminal says it cant find my kernel sources it says change the config file to point to where the sources are I checked in usr/src and there is no linux file in there (thats where the sources are supposed to be)

so it wont let me configure the driver...

could I get a step by step on what to do??

Most likely you can put your Kernel Sources (from your Distro-Source CD) onto your computer yourself. If they are not available, download the source for the version of Kernel you are running. Try www.kernel.org .
