Question attaching in mutt


friends,
How could i attach file with Mutt MUA?
do i need to make some modification in /etc/Muttrc or .muttrc?

Compose your email as normal. Once you close the editor and return to the message screen (where you can send with 'y' or re-edit with 'e') select 'a' to attach.

If you not sure of the commands available in any given mutt screen you can use '?' to list available commands. The help screen can be searched with '/' followed by the search string.

or you can just do it from commandline:

echo "hello world" | mutt -a attachedfile -s "subjectis" target@email.com
