Question Atlas for linux?

Anyone know of a map program or atlas for Linux? Not just a map-making tool, but an actual atlas. Right now I'm forced to boot into Windows 4.9 (M$) to load Encarta (M$) whenever I want to look up a place. Are there open-source alternatives?

Thanks,
Vince

I don't know of a particular mapping program - but I always use MapQuest.

You could try this:

http://roadmap.saignon.net/

I haven't tried it.
