ATI Launcher

OK - I tried some time ago to install the ATI drivers on my Debian/Gnome system and I think I failed. Regardless, I am no longer interested in using ATI drivers as they are poor and will be upgrading to Nvidia ASAP but I notice in Gnome, when I click the "Applications" logo that looks like a foot, in the drop down menu selection, at the very bottom I see the ATI logo as if something was installed at some point on my Linux system. When I try and select the ATI launcher, I get the following error. I just want to remove this "launcher" from the apps menu and also remove all traces from my attempted installation. I don't like files lingering that are not needed or old.

Can anyone assist me?

How did you install it? Using 'alien' or from a 3rd party apt-get repo?

either way you should be able to remove it with dpkg -P [package-name]

For anyone else, I had to remove this via CLI...

cwilliams:/usr/share# cd fglrx/
cwilliams:/usr/share/fglrx# ls
drv.list km.list rn.list
cwilliams:/usr/share/fglrx# ./
restore of system environment completed
Uninstall fglrx driver complete...
