ARRRRGH!!!! Sendmail Configuration Headaches
I am trying to configure sendmail, so that I may use it as my email service for my business. This is the last thing holding my back from officially opening my dotcom business. Can anyone assist me in configuring my sendmail. I am using RedHat 8.0 with the default sendmail service that comes with the disks. I have my linux box setup as the router for my home network, my firewall, my webserver, and want to add the mailserver to it. Any help will be much appreciated.

Just an advise here ... sendmail is one of the most complex mail-system ever. Wy not using postfix instead, which is much more easy to configure and is being written by one of the four best programmers ever. It also has less security advisories .. that might be a point here ...

Well I am not sure on the exact problem. I do a telnet and get a good response, but no email. I try to email in, and i get a reply back from root@localhost saying that the mail was undeliverable. But ONE TIME i actually sent an email. So I do not exactly know what to do.

Ok so, I now have it sending the mail, however when I try to send the mail I get the following error.....
user@mydomain.com
SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<user@mydomain.com>:
host myhostname.mydomain.comm [IP ADDRESS]: 550 5.7.1 <user@mydomain.com>... Relaying denied
How can I fix this. As I said, I can sendmail, but cannot recieve it. On easydns, I have told it to use mail.mydomain.com as the mailserver. I am completely confused. Thanks
