ardour 99.3 installation

i am trying to install Ardour 0.99.3 from source on SimplyMEPIS 6

I have all the dependencies met, but this uses an application called "scons" to build the app.

Upon running scons, it goes throuh what i assume is a replacement for "make"

i cannot find what i need to do after running scons. make install doesnt work. I tried scons install, it seemed to do something, but i still have no binary to run for ardour. The readme file only mentions running scons, so i dont knwo what to do next..

nevermind, apaprently scons install worked, it just installed the binary to a location not in my path.. making a symbolic link to that binary worked
