Arc Serve Guro required
 

Afternoon everybody,

first time user of this fantastic forum and probably will start using this quite a bit

3 question really,,
First one is to do with Arc Serve 7 run on linux 9 is it compatible?

We have just upgraded from Redhat 7.2 -> 9 but our arcserve is still @ 7 ,, we have been having trouble restoring,,
it starts and says that its successful, but only a portion of the file ends up being backed up, sometimes it works & sometimes not, its not the tape,, having same problems with all tape!.
seems to be fine retrieving stuff off the end the tape.? make sense to anyone?? not me..

it used to work- until we upgraded our linux server.
could this be the problem and is there any patch..

Second question..
is there a linux equivalent to Microsoft's Exchange Serv. it would be good to put on our mail server. if its around for linux.. im sure there would be something out there better priced than Microsoft's 100 users.

Third one. is there any were to pick up good rulesets for mailscanner <-- particually for spam assassin,, there seem to get around any rules i put in.. totally random domains, email address, IP address
