Apt-get segmentation fault on Fedora Core 2
 

Hi

I tried to use apt-get for upgrade from a specific repository. So i edited my

sources.list file in apt directory. Everything ran fine. But after first run, whenever i run apt-get it gives segmentation fualt.

I have tried using rpm --rebuilddb but no use.

I know that there is some mention of this in other forums. but can anyone explain.

Also How can I reinstall apt. When i try installing again, It says apt is already installed

What are the commands for uninstall??

Help a newbie.

This is just from memory, since i switched a while ago, but try apt-get install --reinstall. Or try the man page, maybe.
