Hi, I don't know what I did, but the apt-get results in segmentation fault:

Segmentation fault
sh-3.1# rm /var/cache/apt/*.bin
sh-3.1# apt-get install gcc
Segmentation fault
I tried searching results online and reboot, but none of them works. Reboot makes it temporarily seemingly to work like above, but after the first run of apt-get it returns to error again.
Thanks,
Ted
Do you get any errors or warnings in /var/log/messages and/or dmesg when this happens?
THanks, there were no messages, but I managed to solve it, I don't know why, cause the internet connection is bad today (F*** my isp) so I tried rm the .bin and apt-get until it worked. Got it to work after 4-5times.
Thanks though.
ted
