Apps loading slowly on slack immediately after startup
 

firstly i love slack...slack i wish u were a woman..i would have done...uh...uh..stuff to u..

1)ok i have a basic idea of how the memory managerment on linux works, but its really annoying when i just boot my computer in the morning and i have to wait for 5-6 seconds or more for mozilla firebird or xmms to start up...however if i close the app and re open it again it loads really fast (cause i guess its now loaded into memory)...is there anyway way that i can get ALL apps to load faster when i execute them for the first time..i have a athlon xp 1900 and enough ram--768 MB DDR RAM..please help..

2) i use idesk on flux ...is there anyway to enable animations for these icons..u know..to get them to respond or animate in some way when i click them or to make the pointer change into a finger when i hover over them...

3) is it possible to use the kde panel on flux? i know the gnome panel bin is 'gnome-panel'..what is the binary for the kde panel?

4) is there anyway to increase the height of the flux toolbar?

5) when i click on an app on the flux toolbar and make it active, it disappears from the toolbar...is there anyway to make an app permanently remain on the toolbar and not disappear from it when i click it (like kde or winslow)

6)is there anyway to make the flux toolbar more functional than it is???
