applying errata disc contents

I have an errata disc that came with my Mandrake 10 OS set of discs.
The CD contains 3 directories;

1) base - which contains files > hdlist.cz, list, pubkey, synthesis.hdlist.cz & timestamp
2) RPMS - which contains 185 .rpm files
3) SRPMS - which contains nothing

and two files;
1) descriptions
2) md5sums

How do I apply all the fixes contained on this CD? My only clue is to one at a time execute the 185 .rpm files contained in the RPMS directory. Other than that I am clueless. I do not know what to do with the data contained in the directory named base or what the md5sums file is for. Is there a simple way to make the most of my errata disc?
