Application to view Comic Book files (*.cbr)

Does anyone know of a nice application that I can use to view my comics (cbr) files?
I saw something called CDisplay, but I have only found it for Windows.....

Thanks

cbr is not a real file format. What it is, is a rar file (yes, like zip) renamed from rar to cbr. Same thing goes for cbz (zip>cbz). Now, I don't know about a Linux equivalent, but all you have to do is to rename the files back to rar/zip, extract the content inside them and just watch the jpg files or whatever picture compression used. It's more convenient with a browser for Linux, but this is the best advice I can give you. CDisplay is pretty good, you could try it through Wine or CrossOver to see if it works. I'm not sure that it will though.

Jomic

It doesn't seem to be for Linux.

It is Java, you can run on Linux if you have Sun Java, Java Advanced Imaging and unrar (unrar must be in PATH) on your system. Just download the platform independent version and run:

$ java -jar Jomic.jar
