application to run ?
hello, I plan to develop up a book store website, i like to use mysql php and it's running on redhat linux, what's good mail server so i could run on it to of redhat, for sending automatic mail to all the customer on my list ?
it's this a good combination ? (mysql,php,redhatlinux,mailserver ?)

I use sendmail to send mail with php, it's really easy. Of course you'll have to have sendmail installed.

Yes.
Sendmail is the more popular and widely-used mail program.
But you can also take a look at Postfix and qmail.
