Application to monitor the system?

Hi!
I've been searching an application (not an applet) which I can use to display system statistics like the usage of the CPUs, RAM, swap file, CPU and system temperature, top processes, free disk space, eth usage, disk activity, etc... . I'm using for my notebook "gkrellm2" which is very nice and does all what I mentioned, but in this case I need something that looks better and especially uses the whole screen to display the informations. Even a console-based program like nmon (unluckily it doesn't display the temperature) would be ok. Any Idea?

Kinda overkill to just monitor one system.. gkrellm2 and conky are a bit more lightweight but you said that's not what you want..

I know it's not full screen, and thus probably not what you're looking for, but maybe someone else reading this thread will use it. It's worth a read of the website - very funny. The FAQ is a work of art:

not exactly what your looking for, but you might be interested in logwatch.

It scans your log files for valuble info and emails you daily

htop does processes and cpu+ram+swap usage. For Temp stats I think you can use lm-sensors.

I'd recommend 'atop' for real-time statistics, it's just a bit more functional than other top-like programs, and to check if your system was under stress when you're away try 'sysstat'.
