application container engine

Can you show me some application container engine like Docker?

Other container engines are systemd-nspawn (if your host uses systemd) and LXC.

Please clarify what you mean exactly. Docker is nothing more than a container solution, just like systemd-nspawn, LXC or the upcoming solution of the CoreOS developers (forgot the name of that).

Both are used widely, though it seems that for application deployment Docker is the preferred solution.

So? Then with LXC we can't have Docker Features?

Nobody is preventing you from using both. In fact, Docker supports LXC as backend.
More info about those technologies can be found on their websites.
