app to read paint shop pro format?

Is there any native linux application that can read Jasc's Paint Shop Pro files, and convert them to something else?

Or am I forced to install PSP via wine (which I really hope to avoid if it is possible).

I am using gentoo.

XnView reads every format ever considered by anyone living, dead, or yet to be born.

The Gimp
It looks like you can read that file type but not write. If you don't have the gimp already just log in as root and
emerge gimp
Ah, the joys of gentoo
