Question app to convert metric lengths and weights

I seem to recall that there is an application that runs from the command line and converts metric weights and other measures to pounds, inches and whathaveyou. I have done some searches using 'apropos', but I have not hit paydirt yet.

Can anyone clue me as to what the name of the application is? (Or was I dreaming?)

I haven't found a command-line application (it wouldn't be hard to write, so there's bound to be one out there somewhere), but a Freshmeat search yielded a GUI application called KUnit:

Note that this is a Qt application (not KDE) so it shouldn't be too hard to compile.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't thought to look at freshmeat. kunit seems to convert just about any sort of measure. It even does shoe sizes!
