Apache2 not allowing access to file system?


I have had apache working fine but decided to upgrade to try to apache2......

why would it not let user www from group apache access to his own file system via the web interface? The old apache didnt have a problem with this config

What is Apache running as?
Also, what does the user get when he tries?
