Thumbs up Apache2 and mod_proxy

Can someone point me in the right direction please...?

I’m trying to set up Webmin so that I can access it from port 80, but Apache is running on that port. I’ve discovered that I can use apache to insert Webmin as a “virtual” site (into the URL) by using ProxyPass. I can also use <Virtual Host> to access it as part of the FQ Domain name.

I've not been able to get any of the two possible solutions to work.
Has anyone had any success with this? Some woking examples would be a bonus!

Thanks

I've not tried it specifically with webmin however I've used mod_proxy before. Perhaps you can elaborate on what the actual problem is when you try to set it up and post a copy of your configuration.

Can't stop apache. It's serving pages. I did manage to get it to go with ProyPass though.

For other peeps trying to get it to go :

add this to httpd.conf:
SSLProxyEngine on
ProxyPass /webmin/ https://YourWebServerURLHere:10000/
ProxyPassReverse /webmin/ https://YourWebServerURLHere:10000/

and add this to webmin config file:
webprefix=/webmin
