apache2-2.0.46-1.7.2.i386.rpm

Ok so i'm trying to install apache 2.0.46 overtop of the 2.0.40 that comes with red hat 9. I could only find the rpm for version 2.0.46. When I try to install it I get failed dependencies:
libcrypto.so.2
libssl.so.2

Thats because I have
libcrypto.so.4
libcrypto.so.0.9.7a
libssl.so.4
libssl.so.0.9.7a

I can't imagine that the new versions would cause it to not work. Can someone tell me how I change the way its looking for the old versions in the rpm? I would guess that I would need to make it from a binary. But the problem with that is I don't know how and I dont' where to find a binary of apache2-2.0.46-1.7.2.i386

thanks
