Apache web server question and mod_proxy

Hello,

I'm trying to install Apache2. It seems to have been included in the Suse 11.0 distro which I'm currently using.

I know that I'll need the mod_proxy module as I'm going to use reverse proxying to access websites located on my W3K IIS server which is behind my firewall.

I would like to know if the mod_proxy module is included in the Apache I'm attempting to us or do I have to download it from some place and compile it.

How does this work. I looked at the Apache web site and I can't find anything which would direct me to find out if the module is included or what has to be done to use it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

You can run
Code:
apachectl -M
and see if the apache that comes with your distro includes mod_proxy and the other relevant proxy modules.
You can read the apache documentation or this howto to see how you can configure apache as a reverse proxy.

Regards
