Apache warning when started

Hi,

I'm kinda new to Linux (Ubuntu Distro) and I'm having problems using apache with PHP.

Everything works fine except that when I start apache, I get this warning:

Code:
[warn] Loaded DSO libexec/libphp4.so uses plain Apache 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI! (please recompile it with -DEAPI)
It says that I need to recomplie PHP but what I really wanna do is uninstall PHP,apache and MySQL COMPLETELY and make a fresh install from there. Can you guys tell me how to do this. Thanks

To reinstall apache etc.

Open synaptic (the frontend for apt-get, the package manager in Ubuntu)
Search for apache2 then click on the box (it should be green because you have already installed it) then click "mark for reinstallation"
Click the "Apply" button, that will reinstall for you.

Is there actually a problem or are you just worried by the error message?

Hope it helps

Hi, Thanks for the reply...

Actually I didnt use the apache2 package included because of some issues with PHP. I downloaded apache 1.3.33 from apache.org and PHP 4.3.10 from php.net and did a manual install. Now, what I want to do is remove them (PHP and Apache) completely and make a fresh install.

Thanks
