I know that there have been several posts that talk about this, but I have yet to find one that fully explains it. So...does anyone have a nice roadmap of getting Apache to work well with HTML, PHP, and CGI? Every time I have tried it, and on every distrobution I have tried, I can never make it work just so...it always either has PHP crash or CGI has issues with permissions and then of course the evilness with MySQL...and so on...

Has anyone got a pretty good, tried and true distrobution and setup roadmap? I have access to Slack 9, RH 8 & 9, Mandrake 9.1, Knoppix, and College Linux. If someone has a good way to use these in a server setup please let me know!

No ideas? Wow! I have been on this board for at least a year or so and I have never seen a questoin that hasn't been answered! Did I stump the Linux gurus or is my topic unclear?
