Apache, mysql backup site.

Currently I'm running apache, mysql and phpwebsite for my family's home page

Every once and a while my DSL-Router crashes (I've tried SMC, D-Link and Linksys they all have quirks every once and a while) I was thinking of creating some type of fail over site out on the internet (maybe my fathers house which is in another city using DSL)

The challenge I'm faced with is my site is dynamic (php, mysql) It's would be hard to keep the two sites in sync... (I know how to do it in Oracle software)

Any ideas how I'd do this... Any ideas!!!
