Apache Installation

Hi everybody,
I would like to install apache 2.0.54 on an FC4 production server.Please guide me what is the best upgrading process(my previous web server is an 2.0.51).
I think that I can compile a source of apache2 but how I can user the --prefix in ./configure to put the new apache exactly in the same place as the old one(config files,scripts etc.) .

Apache 2.0.54 is already in the Fedora Core updates repositories. Unless you prefer compiling from source, why don't you use

Dear friend,
Thank you for replying ,but this was a misspelling I am going to do that on an FC2.
Thus :
The problem is the installation of Apache 2.0.54 on FC2 whereas the latest version of accessible to YUM is 2.0.51.
