Apache: hosting multiple domains

I am in the middle of setting up my RH9 machine so it can host websites from multiple domains. This means that it should recognised traffic to goes to a specific virtual server on the box. I also am not aware of how to create virtual directories for this purpose: do I set multiple ips on eth0 for each virtual server or...? How would I go about doing this?

Any help on this topic would be greatfully appreciated.

Try this site from Apache's Docs (assuming Apache 2 or higher):

You'll probably want to go to the section on Name-based Virtual Hosts. Using name-based vhosts, you don't have to have multiple IP's. That site explains things very well. It also will explain what goes on behind the scenes so a person can understand the process more thoroughly (which I like to do).
