Apache help...

I just installed FC3 Linux and enabled Apache 2.0. When I type local host, I get the generic Apache is running test page but I want to add my own "under construction" page.

According to apache:

Quote:
You may now add content to the directory /var/www/html/.
So I have a HTML page called "index.htm" and when I move it to the "html" dir, I still get the original test page for Apache. I can't see mine.

The test page then goes on to say:

Quote:
To prevent this page from ever being used, follow the instructions in the file /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf.
So I open that file and see this...

Quote:
#
# This configuration file enables the default "Welcome"
# page if there is no default index page present for
# the root URL. To disable the Welcome page, comment
# out all the lines below.
#
<LocationMatch "^/+$">
Options -Indexes
ErrorDocument 403 /error/noindex.html
</LocationMatch>
Can someone please tell me how I can get my index.htm page to show up when I type loopback address and or what I am missing?
