apache/ftp connection refused???

ive set them up nicely! works perfect on lan but when i try accessing it via the internet all fails! connection refused, i have port forwarding enabled on my router (Netgear DG814). any suggestions?

Do you have a DNS configured?

You need that so people can find your computer on the internet...

The DNS is the part that attaches the domain name with your computer IP, thus allowing people to find your computer anywhere in the world..
(although it's alot more complicated than that)

If you need a good FREE DNS, I suggest or

i was just using my ip for now but i do use .
