apache crashing help!!!

I found this entry in the rror.log:
[Wed Oct 21 18:23:05 2009] [error] [client ::1] File does not exist: /htdocs

what file is it talking about and how do I fix it Please............

Your question is half-hearted. What did you do?
If this error occured when you starting apache, this mean your installation process has fail becauseof creating htdocs folder fail!. Or another reason is you have incorrect config web root location.

check your configuration file, what is the DoucmentRoot path and makesure under that location htdocs is available or not

The message means that a directory that is absolutely essential to Apache's operation has been deleted. So fix it. I would be more detailed, but for me to do that, you would have to post more than ten words.
