Apache control file (apachect1) ???

I'm trying to install the Frontpage extensions for apache 2.0. My office is developing a website using frontpage and we need to be able to access the "webs" for frontpage to publish our site.
I downloaded the extensions file from www.e-gineer.com.

The install script keeps asking for the apache control file (apachect1) file. I have looked all over my system looking for this file and I can't seem to find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Do I need to create this file or can I point the installer to my httpd.conf file?
Thanks,
RH

apachectl is actually a command used to start, stop, restart, test the apache webserver. I don't know what it would need for this file but its usually located in /usr/sbin

Perhaps it actually needs your httpd.conf file?

apachectl is not apachect1

try search apachectl instead of apachect1(one).

It's a Apache HTTP server control interface. A script to make apache start. stop, restart.

On my LINUX, it located at:
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl
(We had apache installed under /usr/local/apache)

Hope this help

Thanks for the replies folks!
I did the search for apachectl and not (one). Boy do I feel stupid!
Can I say tunnel vision!
Anyway, I did find apachectl at /usr/sibn/

Thanks,
Now I'll try to finnish the install.
