Apache compatibility with Kernel 2.4.33.3


I am running Slackware 11 with kernel 2.4.33.3 and would like to upgade the version of apache to 2.2.3
Is there a guidline to use for what is compatibile? Will apache 2.2.3 work with Slackware 11 using kernel 2.4.33.3?

In theory yes, but why aren't you using kernel 2.6? It is much better IMHO.
