Apache - change document root?
I changed the document root in /etc/apache/httpd.conf to point to a directory in a seperate harddrive and started apache. Even though there are files in that directory, I get a 404 error. So, is there anything special I must do to make it point to my new document root (/mnt/fat32data/server/www)?

The basic stuff...
I assume you've checked all the basic file permissions? Have you restarted httpd so that it can re-read the .conf file? Dave |

Could you please help me? PS I've read https://help.ubuntu.com/9.10/serverguide/C/httpd.html http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/url...g.html#outside but they couldn't help me for fixing this issue. |
