apache & mod_perl..

i've tried compiling mod_perl with apache but i get errors with version 1.. i don't want to use apache 2.x as a test server and would like to use 1.x for a localhost test server.. my questions is.. could i use mod_perl 2.x for apache 1.x.. the thing is that i've only seen stories of mod_perl 2 with apache 2..

nope. You have to use mod_perl 1.0 with Apache 1.3 and mod_perl 2.0 with Apache 2. Though I've found that mod_perl 2 is much more difficult to get running...I'm wrestling with it right now.
