Question Apache

I proudly just finished switching from RH9 to slackware I took the lazy route and did a "full" package install so I ended up with Apache 1.3.27 compiled by default. I really want to use 2.0.46 and compile it off apache.org. What is the best way to uninstall/get rid of my old apache before puttin the new one on? I recall having a similar problem in Red Hat, but there you can just uncheck apache at package install. Back then I just reinstalled the system without it after learning the hard way. Now that doesn't seem to be an option. Thanx to all who tolerate us newbs

pkgtool

You can go through all the packages you installed and remove those you do not want (such as apache).

Cool

Thank You!

Pkgtool worked great...ahh an old reminder of the nasty QBASIC days. I also found some other things that might prove useful in the future. Thanx again.
