Hi. I am a student in grade 11 and I am doing something in school regarding linux. Unfortunately, my teacher doesn't really have much experience in linux machines and uses, and I realy need help with some apache issues. Right now I have my linux machine connected to a router, which is connected to a switch, which in turn is connected to a last windows 95 machine. The goal is to create a dns server on the linux machine(redhat 8.0). The linux and windows machine can ping each other and the router and switch just fine, but when I open up mozilla on the linux machine to connect and view things on the windows machine, an error message comes up saying that the connection is being rejected. Does anyone have any ideas on whats happening?

is the windows 95 box running the apache server which is giving you problems?
