Question Apache 2 -> 1.3 How to downgrade? RH8

I have RH8 running with the Apache server that came with it. (2.something).

What I want to do is retro to Apache 1.3 - because I want to run ColdFusion 5 on the box and CF5 won't work with Apache 2 I am told.

I tried to uninstall Apache 2 using the RH supplied interface but it won't do that due to dependency problems (not specifying exactly what they are).

So, I downloaded the 1.3 from Apache and did the tar trick and that seemed to install it.

But the Services still points to the Apache 2.

How do I get Services to run the Apache 1.3 and not Ap 2?
