Anyone with same problem? FC 5 with ATI X700 and X.org 7.0
That doesnt seem to be working. At least no for me. Thing is, ATI drivers are valid up until x.org 6.9 and Fedora Core 5 uses X.org 7.0.
I have tried installing the ATI drivers anyways, but it says it can't find th folder of my X700.
Should I wait until ATI releases an updated set of drivers, or is there a workaround?

Hi lonecrow, I've an x600 ATI card and I've the same problem.
I've installed one month ago the FC5 test3 and I upgraded to FC5, For weeks I'm waiting that ATI releases the fglrx driver for X.org 7.0, no luck yet. I'm using the "radeon" driver and it seems ok, of course I don't have 3d acceleration, I even look for the kernel module in the livna repositories for FC5, nop they don't have it yet also. I don't think you'll find a workaround here, since we don't have the sources of the driver we depend heavily on ATI developers.
Guess we have to wait some weeks.
