Anyone tried Wine or VMware with ProgDVB and a SkyStar 2 PCI card ??

I am thinking of getting a PCI SkyStar 2 satellite card since it's a lot cheaper that a standalone satellite receiver like a DreamBox.

But i want something more that FreeToAir channels..

I searced a bit and I did not found any alternative to ProgDVB for Linux that of course can load ProgDVB's plugins etc...
Using those plugins you can decode more channels

ProgDVB runs only on windows and i won't run windows only for my satellite card !!

Any information on the above ?
