anyone know a good mediaplayer plugin

In trying to get my mediaplayer in firefox to work

and its driving me nuts

i mainly need to get microsofts mediaplayer ten working so i can view my favorite videsite

now if you know of another player i can emerge that would be great.

vlc player wont work in my firefox, unless i have to set up manually in the firefox options.

so just let me know

You can try installing mplayer and mplayer-plugin, and the propietary codecs. That works OK for me.

Xine also has a good mozilla plugin, it's bundled with gxine. And totem has a plugin too.

yeah i have mplayer, xmms, xine, bmp, and totem

but ill try the mplayer-plugin, and the propietary codecs.

im doing

emerge mplayerplug-in mplayer-skins
