Any xwindows fractal program like VistaPro of old?

I used to love rendering mountainous landscape scenes using a package called Vista Pro. Anyone remember this old gem? Things have moved on a bit but I was just wondering does anybody use something like this on xwindows?

I just had a look at terragen and I'm impressed. Wished there was a Vistapro emulator moe though. :D :D

There's some fractal toys in Gimp you may want to investigate.

Vistapro 4 was terrible though. I've still got a Vistapro 3 CD that a magazine gave away on the cover of the first issue. I wish someone would do Bryce 5 for Linux.
