Any Windows Driver News In Linux April 09?
Hi, I am interested after an improvement in Wine to see if there is any advancement in Windows Drivers in Linux. This is April 09 end.
I have an HP printer psc all-in-one.
Any news, last checked over six months back.

I have never heard of using WINE to run Windows drivers. Isn't this what NDISWrapper is for??
Have you tried setting up the printer with a Linux driver? My system lists many models in the HP psc series.

I think you would be better off with HPLIP as Wine is not the best thing to use if you want specific hardware to work.

So Wine does drivers? I tried it before and was told it only does programs. Also then it did not do the job. I know and use HPLIP, it is good, but the Windows HP driver is excellent.

I think that both replies suggest that WINE does NOT do drivers.
